Daniel P. Shinaver, age 62, of Fenwick, passed away April 17, 2017. He was born August 28, 1954 to Gerald and Reva (Hoppes) Shinaver. Dan was devoted to his job at E.T.M for over 35 years. He was known as, "Dan the Lotto Man" because of his love for lottery tickets. Dan enjoyed being outdoors; feeding birds, watching deer, gardening with his daughter, Amanda, and giving tractor rides to his grandkids on his prized lawnmower. He liked going to the races with his cherished friend, Randy and garage-saling. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Dan is survived by his beloved children, Tracy (Mike) Gregory, Amanda (Kevin) Shinaver, and Jacob (Angela) Shinaver; grandchildren, Willy, Livi, Levi, Theodore, Viola, and grand-puppy, Bella; siblings, Jerry Shinaver, Ronald (Carol) Shinaver, Terry (Marilyn) Shinaver, James (Nancy) Shinaver, Judy (William) Clark, Steve (Lisa) Shinaver, Tom (Sherry) Shinaver, Wendy (Don) Pohl, Mary (Tom) Dryzga, Pauline Holton, Kathy Shinaver, and Joy (Victor) Cardenas; sister-in-law, Jean Shinaver; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Maureen Piggott, Randy Lehman, Jeff Stombaugh; and his dog, Buddy. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bill Shinaver, Rosemary Reed, and Jane Lance-Simmons; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Dan Conklin, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich St., Ionia. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
